Jodi Willis-Roberts

Outgoing and gregarious, Jodi Willis-Roberts is a bit of a character both at play and on the field.

The multi medal winner, who has been vision impaired since birth, is aiming for Beijing in a bid to make it her sixth Paralympics and add to her outstanding tally of Paralympic medals including two gold, two silver and two bronze. She also has many gold and other medals won at World Championships and international levels.

In 1993, Jodi was awarded an OAM, and is today known as one of the best motivational Paralympian speakers on the circuit. She also makes regular appearances across the state coaching children at primary and secondary level.

Based in Ballarat and under the coaching prowess of Russell Short, when the full time athlete is not training, she likes nothing better than being on the back of her husband’s motorbike and taking off on camping weekends, where she insists she can whip up a mean sausage over the fire.
