Stephen Osborne

Stephen Osborne was an able-bodied age swimmer and he retired from swimming to go into the Army. At the age of 26 Steve had a motorbike accident and had to have his right leg amputated. After his accident Steve had to fight to stay in the Army.

Stephen has only been swimming professionally for a year with the 2006 World Championships being his first international meet.

Stephen lives in Brisbane and he trains under the guidance of Matt McCahon and fellow team mate Ricardo Moffatti.
