TPEP in the classroom

The main component of the Telstra Paralympic Education Program is the teaching resource. This is a series of activities and lesson plans that cover a wide range of key learning areas including:

  • English
  • Maths
  • Studies of Society & Environment / Human Society and its Environment
  • Creative Arts
  • Music
  • Personal Development/Health/Physical Education or Health and Wellbeing

To make it easy for you to incorporate these activities and lesson plans into your classroom, we have highlighted the curriculum outcomes for you, based upon your state/territory requirements for the following:

  • ACT : Years 5 and 6
  • NSW : Stage 3
  • NT : TBC
  • QLD: Level 4
  • SA: Middle Years
  • VIC: Level 4
  • TAS: Years 5 and 6
  • WA: Middle Childhood Phase

You will need to register before accessing the lesson plans.

  3. Letters/Cards to Athletes

    If your class wants to send an athlete actual letters/cards then please post: c/ Sarah Whitaker, PO Box 596, Sydney Markets NSW 2129 and all correspondence will be passed on to the athlete.
