3. Fearnley Defends Title in Chicago Marathon

   Less than a month after his stunning victory in the Paralympic Games marathon in Beijing, Australian Kurt Fearnley surged to a resounding win to defend his Chicago Marathon title overnight.

4. Get behind Matt Cowdrey in ultimate pool poll

   Australia’s top performers from the pool in Beijing will compete head-to-head in swimming’s answer to the Logi awards, with a field of outstanding nominees including Paralympic hero, Matt Cowdrey, announced in the 2008 Telstra People’s Choice Award.
